Rachel's 10th Birthday

Ten years ago tonight, I had the honor of calling my grandparents to let them our family would be late for grandpa’s birthday party and that grandpa was getting a special present for his birthday that year. My younger sister was in the hospital giving birth to Rachel, her first child. Tonight we celebrated Rachel's 10th birthday. Seriously, Where has the time gone? Rachel is definitely a 10 year old, but how did she get so old? Grandpa is so dang cute and it is so fun to watch him share his birthday with Rachel.

Rachel received clothes, Disney Fairy things (which she loves) and pipe cleaners (which she also LOVES). My cute sister used homemade wrapping paper because she thought Rachel would like it better than store bought. How cute is that? So much fun!

Here is Rachel explaining to grandma who all of the Disney Fairies are (because she knows)
How cute and creative is my sister? She used white butcher paper and water colors to make the wrapping paper.
Rachel loves to make all sorts of things with pipe cleaners...these should keep her busy for a little while.
Some cute new shirts. Her mom gave her some new jeans and shirts as well.
Rachel also received coupons for all sorts of fun activities with her family and with grandma and grandpa. Grandma told her that this way, her birthday could go on for several months.
