Mom and dad went all out on this trip and said if we were going to do it, we were going to do it right. We stayed at Port Orleans which is a Disney Resort. The bus picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the front of the resort. It took us a bit to get checked in, but once that was done, we went to our rooms.

| We stayed in building 39 in the "Alligator Bayou" |

| The view from our rooms. |
We had three rooms. Mom and dad had their own room. The rest of us had adjoining rooms with a door in between which worked perfectly.
| There were fun signs everywhere which mostly helped us stay on target. |
| This is near the lobby and main dining hall. Disney really does know how to make a place feel nice. |
| Here's the front of the resort as we were waiting for the shuttle bus one morning. It was so nice to walk from our room, grab some breakfast and then the shuttle bus. |
| We also had a water shuttle to downtown Disney. We used it a few times and it worked great. The ride was relaxing. |
So I said it took us a bit to get checked in...that is because our room keys were also our meal keys and our park admission tickets. They also needed our flight information and all of that. The nice thing though, they had all of that on file so when it was time to leave, they automatically checked us into our flight so we didn't have to worry about it.....and, we could check our luggage in for our flight there at the hotel and we didn't have to worry about it until we arrived home.
