Dad served his mission in New Zealand and when mom and dad got married nearly 40 years ago they started saving to go to there together. Instead, they started a family. Well.......mom and dad finally had the opportunity to go to New Zealand. They are there right now. We are following their progress on facebook and through e-mails. What a blessing to have modern technology to allow us to do that right? Dad wrote something yesterday that brought tears to my eyes and I had to share:
"Driving on the left, steering wheel on the right, 6 speed gear shift with left hand, turn signal with right hand, not drifting to the left........a lot to remember. Being in New Zealand after nearly 43 years, PRICELESS!!!"
We are hoping to oodles of pictures, they have so far sent us 11. Some of earthquake damage from recent quakes in Christchurch. Here is one of my favorites though - dad getting to dance in a polynesian show. LOVE IT!!!!!
